Intuitive-IC shelving is designed to help you prepare for the move from a traditional library to a technology-driven information center. Choose from a wide variety of optional accessories to create custom shelving that meets your evolving needs, available on demco.com. The four-post, 16-gauge steel frame has a titanium powder coat finish, unitized construction for superior structural support and adjustable leveling glides for stability on uneven floors. Integrated wire management in the base accommodates technology. Shelves and side panels are made of 3/4" thick, 45-lb. medium-density fiberboard with high-pressure laminate surfaces. Each adjustable shelf includes steel rod book supports to keep collections neat and upright (two supports on single-faced shelves; four supports on double-faced shelves). Order one starter unit and required number of add-on units to finish a row. Step Down kit allows you to transition from a higher shelving unit to a lower shelving unit within a row. Back panels and side panels sold separately.
