• 1"-thick panels with red oak veneer surfaces
• 1"-thick plywood with red oak veneer shelves hold up to 150 lbs.

Fine craftsmanship includes a 5 step finishing process with hand sanding for a silky smooth finish. A topcoat of clear catalyzed lacquer provides an extremely hard and durable finish. End and intermediate panels are 1"-thick red oak veneer plywood. 1"-thick oak veneer plywood shelves are fixed on shelf pins with a flat shelf positioned below for back issues. Tops for 42"H, and 60"H units feature a durable high-pressure laminate surface. 82"H units have inverted tops so wood veneer is visible inside the shelving unit. Bases are 3-1/2" high veneer core plywood. All units include a slate gray MDF core melamine back for improved stability and durability. All 82"H units include special H-brace.

Magazine shelves are fixed on shelf pins with a flat shelf positioned below for back issues.
