Oh no — Ms. Read, the children’s librarian, is beside herself! Last night, a book of rare coins was stolen from the library display case, and Ms. Read was responsible for keeping it safe. If the book is not found, she will be in big trouble! Can your students help her solve The Great Coin Caper? To do so, they must gather evidence, correctly answer three Dewey questions and use the process of elimination to determine the culprit who stole the book of coins, the tool the culprit used to break into the display case and the Dewey room in which the culprit hid the coin book. It’s a library mystery of epic proportions, and a whole lot of Dewey fun! Grade 3+. 2011.
