You get what you pay for
These are cheap and basic, but I am okay with that. These are perfect for selling in the library to the students who need earbuds for class and forgot them at home. They are not meant to be long lasting. I buy them all the time.

Buy the better ones...
Best to spend the extra money for better earbuds. These do not stay in the port where they plug in and thus are intermittent at best.
