A Tissue in time saves nine.
I just used this tissue to repair a Bible and I was inpressed by its quality. The tissue is strong and vanishes when used as a page tear with book binding glue. It is stiff enough to cut and handle.

Book Repair Tissue Paper
This product is awesome for repairing severely torn pages. It does require a little practice to get it to be completely invisible and to lay flat. The only negative comment I have is the size of the sheets. The sheets are too big to handle easily.
