CircExtender does what it claims to do
We love this stuff and it really does make paperbacks last longer and look more presentable after many of circulations.

Clear Picture
Laminate is very clear (keeps the cover images bright and pretty) and is stiffer than what I was using.

pros & cons on this item
I cover quite a few paperbacks with this type product. This particular one is a bit thin and 'stretchy', and it does bubble very easily. However, it adheres to the spine & the bends of the cover much better than the thicker product, which is a huge plus for thinner books especially.
I cannot stress enough to NOT try to follow the directions printed on the backing paper! Your end result will be totally unsatisfactory.
I find that I really need to start at the front edge of the back cover, center the product and very slowly peel off the backing as I smooth the product back and forth with my fingertips (so I can feel bubbles as they form and adjust them). Once I have the product on, I go back over it with a burnisher, but using a burnisher-type product when applying will stretch the product and I end up with more wrinkles or bubbles.

very tacky
The product is very tacky. However, you can lift and replace. After I covered
50 books, I got the hang of the product. Easier to cover hard back than soft cover.

Go for 2x
We don't usually use the regular (vs 2x 3x) strength. Easy to apply, but rips easily when and where you don't want it to. Recommend the 2x.
