Official Contest Rules

  1. ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER, WIN, OR CLAIM PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The contest is open only to persons who: (a) are legal residents of the U.S. who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry, and (b) are employed by, volunteers at, or similarly associated with a library or center of learning. Employees of Demco, Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, or vendors, and their immediate families and members of their households, are NOT eligible to participate in the contest. Subject to all applicable laws. Void where prohibited by law.
  2. TO ENTER: For social media contests, to enter, you must visit the Demco Facebook page at facebook.com/demcofun and comment on the contest post, tweet using the contest hashtag(s) and mention @demco, or save to Pinterest using the contest hashtag(s). For Pinterest contests, only one entry per person is allowed. Contests on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest are not endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest. By entering, you are providing the information to Demco and not to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest. For giveaways on demco.com, to enter, you must complete the online registration form and submit it in accordance with the on-screen instructions. Visit Demco, Inc.’s website at demco.com, click on the contest banner, and enter the information requested, including, but not limited to, first name, last name, phone number, email address, and social media username(s).
  3. PRIZES: Limit of one prize per individual. Prizes are non-transferable. No prize substitution is allowed.
  4. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Winners will be either be selected at random or chosen by a panel of judges. Prizes will be mailed to winners within one month of contest end date. Participants do not need to be present at the drawing to win. For social media contests, the selected winner will be notified via Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter within 10 days after the drawing. For giveaways on demco.com, the selected winners will be notified via email or telephone. The winner must respond to the winner notification within 7 days. If a selected winner does not respond within the 7-day period, Demco reserves the right to disqualify the selected winner and randomly select an alternate winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries.
  5. WINNERS’ LIST: For a copy of the Winners’ List, send your request in a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Contest Winners’ List / Demco, Inc. / P.O. Box 7488 / Madison, WI 53707. Please indicate which contest you are interested in.
  6. CONSENT: You hereby grant Demco, Inc. the right to use the Content you submit, in whole or in part, on Demco’s website, catalog, or other marketing materials.
  7. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Prizes are shipped to addresses within the U.S. only. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Winner is responsible for any other costs that he/she may incur in receiving, installing, and using the prize. BY PARTICIPATING, ENTRANTS AGREE: (A) TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS Demco, Inc., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY AND ALL INJURIES, LIABILITY, LOSSES, AND DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ENTRANTS PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF A PRIZE; (B) TO THE USE OF THEIR NAMES AND/OR PHOTOGRAPHS FOR ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES WITHOUT FURTHER CONSIDERATION, UNLESS PROHIBITED BY LAW, SHOULD THEY WIN A PRIZE; (C) TO FUTURE CONTACTS BY Demco, Inc. IF THEY GRANT THAT CONSENT ON THEIR ENTRIES. Eligibility to participate does not depend on consent to future contacts by Demco, Inc. Information submitted by entrants will not be sold by Demco, Inc. to third parties, and will be subject to Demco, Inc.’s Privacy Policy. If any prize or notification is returned as non-deliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified. Demco, Inc. is not responsible for any telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions or difficulties of any kind, including without limitation, server malfunction or any human error that may occur in the processing of entries. Demco, Inc. reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the contest should any virus, bugs, or other causes beyond control of Demco, Inc. corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of the promotion. Demco, Inc. also reserves the right to disqualify any individual found tampering with the entry process. In the event of a dispute about a winner’s identity based on an email address, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the actual time of entry will be deemed the winner. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
