Normally I really like this product. Easy to use, minimal bubbles. However, this time the precut line for peeling the paper back was cut too deep and caused a lot of tearing. I'm hoping this was just a one-time issue as I normally really like this product.

I am not sure what is different about the laminate that I ordered this time, but it seems to create more bubbles than the previous laminate that I have used. I love covering books with the laminate, but was not that happy with these rolls.

Go with the 2X
I mistakenly purchased this laminate rather than the CircExtender 2X that we usually use in my library. Like other reviewers, I'm finding that the bubbles are inevitable, the laminate stretches (creating awkward folds), using a burnisher stretches it even more, and if you peel it off to reposition it, it doesn't stick anymore, leaving a gap between the laminate and the book cover that will collect dirt and dust. Unfortunately we purchased 6 rolls of this, so we'll be struggling to cover our paperbacks for a few more years until we use it up.

You Get What You Pay For
I bought this laminate to cover paperback books and am experiencing buyer's remorse. It was less expensive, but it is also less durable than other laminates I have purchased through Demco. It tears if I am not *very* careful in removing the backing from the laminate, which wastes the produce and my time.

Not worth the time it takes to put it on.
I received a roll of Demco CircExtender hoping to use it to cover the thinnest paperback books for our school library. Unfortunately, the laminate seemed to have picked up the blue ink from the wax paper backing and therefore my books had "Demco" printed on them. I contacted Demco and they very graciously sent me a replacement roll within a couple days! I hoped for the best, but this roll too had the ink transference problem the first roll had. I also noticed as I covered more books that the laminate rips very easily and sticks immediately, making it hard to cover a book well. Perhaps I just got a bad batch, but I do not plan to buy this laminate again.

Horrible quality
Horrible quality. This material is super thin and super sticky. It is really hard to use. Would not recommend.

Fail- Laminate is like overboiled spaghetti
I have been purchasing rolls of laminate and Superfolds for years. Tonight I covered some smaller books with my 10” CircExtender and it was great. No flaying around of sticky sheets, no wrinkles. Nice. Then I went to cover a larger book with the 14” CircExtender. Both say in the description they are 2.5 mil thick. I do not believe that. This was JUNK. It was warping and stretching, sticking to itself even before I could lay the book down. It wrinkled so bad, I removed it as it was repositionable; moving it stretched the film and it remained wrinkled as I tried to put it back on. What the heck? I see return policy is dicey. It has been 2 months since I got my package, but never used it. So now it seems I am stuck ( lol) with an expensive roll of good for nothing garbage. I would not use this inferior product on anything. When I need rolls, I will ask for samples now, even if I have to pay for it. Why would the products be so different in 2 sizes?

"Ghostly" protection
I recently purchased this product because I like the way it works to protect my paperback books. It is superior to clear contact paper, but it has a not-so-desirable side effect. The printing on the peel-off paper adheres to the laminate itself. In other words, every book I cover has a nice firm finish, but it also has the words DEMCO laminate and the grid lines in a ghostly kind of way. I had forgotten about this problem when I reordered this year--not sure what I'll do in the future.
