Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as it used to be.... The laminate I used to buy from Demco had blue lines on it, it worked great. Now, the same product has gray lines. The color of the lines don't matter, but I am guessing they changed the company they get their laminate from and it's not as good as it used to be. It bubbles and creases much easier when covering the books and is much harder to smooth out. I've rarely if ever had that happen with the "blue lined" laminate. The smaller the roll gets, the harder it is to put on smoothly, without creases and bubbles. Frustrating!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well! I've been using this for a while now, and am really happy with it. Last time I bought the heavier one (1 mil thicker), and it was awful ... it was just too stiff to put on properly, and wouldn't stick well. This product, however, works really well, and will give the cover a longer life (or give new life to a disintegrating cover.)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from skip this one I have used many products and this one is the worst! It is unforgiving, takes off the gloss on a book if you try to preposition it. It stretches so easily when applying it is hard to not stretch it. I bought the matte and glossy and both have a blurred unappealing finish. Since I had it, I offered it to a teacher who wanted book covering, warning them of its properties. They returned it the next day. Trying to find another use for it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Is not repositional I have been satisfied with Demco products overall, so when our processing person needed repositional laminate for our paperbacks, I ordered this which says it is repositional from 6 to 24 hours. When used and repositioning was attempted, the laminate clung to the paper and ripped where removal was attempted. Plus, it bubbled horribly, even when using a squeegee with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bubbles!!! This product didn't do very well for us. After covering and left in a controlled environment overnight we came in the next morning to find the laminate had bubbled on the book. If it bubbles in a controlled environment, it really will after being left in a hot car. We returned this product and replaced with one that works better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy!!! After trying several other brands I am so happy I found this one. It is so easy to separate from the backing and stays crease free. This is the one I will use from now on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ruined several inches with random red stripe We use this laminate for all of our paperback books in a middle school library. Usually, we receive the rolls and Demco has placed a piece of tape to the outside to keep it rolled up, ruining several inches of usable material. This time, however, we had already used half the roll when we came across this random red stripe, ruining a big section of the laminate. We can't figure out why it's there. It's not holding anything together, and it's not tape. It's like it's printed onto the laminate itself. Why??
