Rated 1 out of 5 by Terry from Where were they? About a month ago I purchased the DEMCO Clear Glossy Label Protectors and I noticed when I was using them that for every one I peeled off the paper strip there were two empty spaced where I assumed there should have been the protectors. I do not feel that I got the quantity that I ordered. I also paid over $10.00 postage and handling for a package that weighed .668/lb. Outrageous.

Rated 1 out of 5 by iemorga from Won't ever buy again None of the stickers on the spines that I have used these on have worked very well. They keep popping up and dirt gets inside. After only a couple months, I am already replacing stickers on some of the books that I have used these on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Katie from Yuck. I'm an elementary school librarian and use these on various additions to the spine labels. This particular product peels from the spine, whether the spine is paper, cloth, or dust covered, within hours of being attached. Not a bargain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susan the Shelf Elf from Sticks really well! I bought these to protect the spine labels on the books at the school library where I volunteer. Other volunteers had put spine labels on, and in the heat and humidity, some were starting to curl up at the edges. I applied the label protectors, and the problem was solved. Perfect! We used most of a roll of 500 before we ran out of time, and I left a note for the new librarian that more need to be ordered. Note that these are used in an elementary school library where I volunteer, but I don't get a paycheck, so I don't technically work there :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by McKenzie from I like these, but the dispenser is useless High-quality label protectors, but don't expect to use the cardboard dispenser box. I have to pull very hard to get the strip to come out, and even then I can't always get it to move. I just remove the roll from the box and peel the label protectors off. If label protectors on sheets were cheaper, I would absolutely buy them instead. As it happens, these were on sale and were cheaper per label, so I'm very satisfied.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Linda45 from less than adequate I have used your non-glare or non-glossy labels for years and found them to be a reliable product. This time, I ordered the glossy due to budget. I don't think the glossy has anything to do with it, but they do not stick as well... OK on paperback books but not on hard back books, with even the slightest bit of texture. Would not order them again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Maggi from Doesn't stick well We bought these to use with color coding labels on books. They don't stick well on rough hard bound covers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KSFG from causing call number labels to fade I used these labels for several months and suddenly noticed that I was finding books on our shelves that had call number labels that were almost no longer readable. It was clear that these were items on which I had used these Demco clear glossy label protectors. I then ran a test for myself. I put labels on identical paper, covered them with label protectors (two with these clear glossy label protectors and one with the Demco non- glare label) and put them in a place where they did not receive direct fluorescent light. The two covered with these clear glossy labels began to fade fairly quickly and now, a little more than five months later, it is clear that the label protectors are causing the ink on the labels to fade. Demco was unable to offer any explanation and was unwilling to look into the issue because the labels are from 2013. I realize that they are somewhat old, but the reality is that these label protectors will be on our books for many more years than that! We now have to find and replace the labels on all of the books that were processed using those labels. I will not be purchasing these labels again!
