Rated 5 out of 5 by Blossom from Perfect! I bought several colors of these dots to Lexile mark elementary school library books. They fit perfectly on the spine of each book. I didn't want something too large, that would have to fold over to the front and back of the book. The colors are vibrant. I am covering each dot with a clear label (little fingers LOVE to pick at dots!), which I will review separately. The only thing I don't like is the way they dispense. I like when you can pull the empty tape out a bit, and the next sticker pops up. These come out two at a time, so that doesn't work well. No biggie.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LibraryOne from Colors keep changing! I have purchased these dots for 6 years and have been happy with one exception: the colors keep changing. The aqua is no changed from more blue to more green so now my students can't tell a difference between the two it is so subtle. I don't even think aqua is an option anymore, so now what? I've used all the others!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bridget42 from Red not "red" As other customers have expressed, I too am very disappointed in the change in color choices for the 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch adhesive dots. "Fluorescent Red" is no replacement for regular red, especially because it is not even the reddish color pictured--it is fluorescent ORANGE, the coloring of a traffic cone or hunting safety clothing. I work at a public library, and we need to color code items to keep thing organized--these new labels are just no good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by disappointed1 from Dots were poor quality- popped right off books. Very disappointed in product. When I reported this to Demco I received two messages saying they were so sorry and were going to send out samples of an alternate product. No mention of refund, and have yet to see samples.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SRC24 from Perfect size for genre project I bought the 3/4" dots to use on the spines of books and they worked perfectly. One thing to note, the purple dots are not purple. They are dark pink which was disappointing when I really wanted purple. The attached picture shows the purple dots I ended up getting on Amazon next to Demco's "Purple."

Rated 4 out of 5 by stanljm from Great fit for thin book spines! We have color-coded our books by reading level with the colored dots and we use them on the backs of student library cards. Students know what a "good fit" book is for them. It took a lot of work to get the dots put on the books, but even our youngest elementary students browse for books more successfully now. I only wish there were more colors, not two "greens" and two "pinks" for variety.

Rated 3 out of 5 by glenda from The color's really, really dark. I use these dots in various color to help alphabetize the books in the school library, adding a letter to the center of the dot with a black gel pen. The "deep blue" was very, very dark which made it difficult to see the letter. Since that color option is no longer available, perhaps others had the same problem. I'll order the dots again, but I'll choose the regular blue or sky blue color this time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by astockwell from What ever happened to Deep Blue? I had been using the Deep Blue dots for color-coding books. There is nothing offered here that is an equivalent, so I'll probably have to find a different vendor for that, in order to be consistent. Otherwise, this has been a great product and I'll still be ordering other colors. It's nice that there are 3 different sizes available.
