Good for the Price!
The tape is just we right for my purposes, which is to fix torn pages, cover the top and bottom of the spine as reforcement. It's stronger and clearer then regular scotch tape and more economical then the more expensive tape.

Economical & Sufficient Quality f/Most Things
Why use the more expensive quality of tape when the economical tape will do the job? I have been using the more expensive tape and I have no reasonable answer to my own question.

Worth the price!
I got through double digit rolls of this tape every year, and for the price, it can't be beat. I do occasionally get the name brand tape when it's on sale, and it is slightly clearer than the Demco Economy Book Tape, but for the price, I'd take Demco's product. It sticks well- really well, and that is what counts.

Demco Econonmy Book Tape
I've been using this product for years. A couple of years ago, I tried another company's economy tape because our school received a substantial discount. It was NOT worth the discount as it easily peeled off. I quickly ordered Demco's Economy Tape and haven't "strayed" ever since!

Love it!
We recently switched from a name brand to Demco's brand of tape and have no issues with it whatsoever! We cannot tell the difference between the two brands...only in cost saving! Now, if Demco could stop having their best sales AFTER my budget needs to be spent, I'd be really happy!!

I love book tape and use it for many jobs. Some of the rolls of 4 inch wide tape I've gotten have had crinkles/creases in them near the end of the roll - close to the core, so from now on, I plan on only using 3 inch or narrower.

Economy is the word
Although this tape costs less, I'm not sure it is the best for the purpose for which I purchased it. However, if cost is of primary concern for you, it is a good enough tape for most applications and I love that it is 4 inches wide.

Unfortunately, my library purchased this tape to save money. We've noticed the tape coming off of the books more frequently, and the tape is very thin and more difficult to work with.

Flimsy and terrible!
This tape is a waste of money because it cannot be used to repair books. It is difficult to work with, very thin and does not lay down on the page easily. I'm trying to think of other ways to use this tape, but I bought it for book repair.

Power strength needed
I bought a couple of different widths of this brand to try vs the 845 book tape I normally get.
Although the description of what I purchased was Premium Book Tape it is a much lower quality than the 845 book tape. It is so hard to manually pull the tape off from the roll and it easily splits.

Terrible Tape
We purchased this tape a few months ago trying to be frugal. It is awful! It doesn't hold up well and rips easily while using it, meaning you waste more than you use. We're quite disappointed.

Flimsy tape
This will not work for use in book repairs. It is hard to manage because it is so thin. I tried to use it when applying book jackets to seal the jackets on and I'm afraid it won't last the use of a pre-K - 8 students. It also tended to wrinkle during application.
