Love these book supports!!
We have an extensive home library and I bought these for the children's sections. The colors are bright and the size and weight of the supports is just right. I looked at various office supply and discount stores for book supports, but these are better and less expensive than anything I could find. I'll be ordering more!!

Saved my sanity!
The Demco Economy Steel Book Supports have saved my sanity in my elementary media center! The shelving does not have dividers, and being a new school, orders were compiled by central office. Gradually, I have been able to replace old borrowed supports with the beautiful large, foam-bottom green supports. Thanks, Demco!

Sturdy, non-slip, and great color!
I installed new bookshelves for my home library and decided to get new bookends that actually all matched. I had ordered from Demco in the past when I was a librarian, and knew that they are a solid, reliable company with excellent products. So I ordered a batch of these Economy Steel Book Supports. They are just what I wanted - very sturdy, non-slip, with no variations in the color. Plus, they were much cheaper than anything I found on Amazon! Demco service was excellent as always, too. The bookends were shipped quickly and were well packed. I highly recommend Demco and these bookends.

Good, but too expensive
Good bookends. Very strong, and the rubber grip holds well. However, they are extremely pricey for what they are. When our library was in need of more, we ended up buying from Amazon instead.

Great colors & selection
While the metal book ends can be a bit bendy that's fine - it was the color I wanted. The foam bottoms helps with slippage and the colors are perfect.

Exactly What I Needed
I purchased these for my home book shelves after experiencing how well they perform at a library I used to work at. They were exactly what I needed and get the job done well and for a great price. I purchased the bookends with plain bottoms and the bigger size works great with the big books I have. The smaller size is not working as effectively. I used one to hold up some coloring books against my shelf and it slips all the time. I am not sure if it is the plain bottom, the wrong size, too many coloring books, or perhaps a combination. Over all I am extremely happy with this great product!

Good value
Sturdy and a good value for the price, with saturated colors and a nice paint coat. We received a batch with defective base rubber that began to peel off, but Demco was quick to send us replacement bottoms. We were hoping that the rubber was more cork-like, but it is non-marking tan rubber.

When I selected these book ends, they were listed as having a base of cork/rubber. I was hoping to have a choice--as I prefer cork, as rubber deteriorates in the heat. There was no place to mark my base preference when I placed my order, and was disappointed that they had a rubber base.
