Maximize open spaces by providing access to materials from both sides
- 1" thick select-grade veneer-core end panels
- Solid-wood, 1/4" thick edge, scratch-resistant laminate tops and handsome red oak veneer surfaces provide lasting good looks, while helicoil inserts ensure a tight fit where pieces are joined together
- 3/4" thick, solid wood shelves adjust in 1-1/4" increments
- Shelves hold up to 150 lbs.
- Back panels are included for a finished look
- 3/4" thick apron rails conceal a full metal, welded steel frame (base adds 1" to overall unit height)
- Each unit measures 36"W x 24"D overall
- 3" dia. ball bearing, heavy-duty casters

Sturdy and easy to move
These shelves are worth every penny. They are sturdy, well constructed and attractive. But the best part is that they move easily even when filled with books. We invested in these so that our library can be a versatile space. Particularly when we host a book fair twice a year, we like to move all the shelves to open up the space for the fair. When the fair was over, I was able to move all 18 shelves back in place BY MYSELF in 30 minutes! I am very pleased with these shelves.

Beautiful, strong shelves - but comes in pieces
Expensive, but strong and beautiful shelves. Made to order, but not put together; the pieces are delivered in a wood crate. Very minimal instructions provided with the pieces, and the instructions available online are not much better and do not itemize all the pieces involved. Thank goodness my school district has some really good maintenance guys who figured it all out and built it for me.
