Product Description

Great Labels for Library Use
Our library has been using these labels for over a year now. They are ink fast, and despite the warning on the label, have not faded over time or within direct lighting.
My only reason for giving it 4 stars out of five is because of the software that comes with the Dymo LabelWriter. The software is difficult to manipulate, and does not necessarily print within the margins as seen on the screen, so you have to play around with it to get it just so for your template.
But no issues yet with the labels. They do stick rather quickly, so there is not too much room for error when placing them on your item. We will continue to use these and hope they maintain their quality.

Good, but turns brown 1-2yrs exposure to sun
These labels have been pretty good. The only complaint is that they are turning brown with exposure to the sun. This is only really a problem for our yearly rotating "new books" section. At least so far.

Usually I like these.
Unfortunately, lately the print on the labels has been fading very fast (within a year). Our labels are not directly exposed to the sun or harsh lighting but it does not seem to matter what we do. I hope it was just a bad batch we got.

Every label has faded and turned color. A waste of money and time!

Don't use for book labels!
These labels fade if you put a label protector on them! They are easy to make, but the company says there is a gas emitted from the protectors that causes the labels to fade. Our school district bought them for spine labels and after a few months, you can barely see the print anymore.
