Shipping & Processing Charges

We’ve worked with our partners to keep shipping fair and efficient. There is one flat rate of $9.95 shipping on stock orders of $100 or less. Shipping charges for stock orders over $100 are calculated by adding 10% to your order total.

When ordering online, you can calculate your shipping charges on the cart page! Just enter your “Ship To Zip Code” and click “Calculate” to determine your shipping charges.

The shipping and processing charges you see with your shopping cart or list are guaranteed and will be included on your invoice. Charges are based on the expected weight of your parcels combined with the distance shipped. Truck shipments use Demco's negotiated carrier rates.

Occasionally, complexities with an order prevent us from automatically computing the shipping and processing charge. In these situations, contact us to determine your charges. If you choose to submit your order without an estimate, we will prepay transportation charges and add them to your invoice.

For expedited transportation (Fed Ex Overnight, Fed Ex 2 Day), please contact us.

And don't forget — if your organization has a contract, you may be eligible for special negotiated discounts and/or shipping terms once you meet minimum order requirements.

Note: The Demco shipping & handling program is not valid in combination with bids, special orders or other promotions involving special pricing. It is not valid for orders shipping outside the 48 contiguous states and does not apply to rush or special delivery.

Orders Shipped Via Truck

Orders shipped via truck are delivered either to the end of the truck or onto your loading dock. If you require delivery beyond these points, an extra charge will apply. More information about truck delivery.

Demco Sales Tax Terms

If you reside in the following states, your state and local sales tax will be applied unless we have received your tax exempt certificate with your exemption number. If you need to send these to us, please contact our Accounting department.

Caution: When paying with a PERSONAL credit card you will be charged sales tax in the previously mentioned states. Only purchases paid directly with organizational funds qualify for sales tax exemption.

Receiving Your Order

Before you sign the delivery receipt, inspect your shipment for any possible damage.

If your FedEx Ground or Parcel Post shipment arrives damaged, call the Demco Customer Service Department, 800.962.4463,for an immediate replacement.

If you have any questions about your delivery, call Demco Customer Service at 800.962.4463, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. CST.

If your Truck shipment arrives damaged, refuse the shipment. If you did not refuse the shipment:

  • Write a note on the delivery receipt describing the damage. The trucking company is liable for damages only if you note it on the delivery receipt
  • Please keep all cartons and packing materials along with your damaged merchandise together until you have spoken with us
  • If upon further inspection you find more damage, please contact us immediately
