Rated 1 out of 5 by llbzip from Not for high traffic areas We bought these for use with an open hold shelf, so the items and shelf markers are shifted quite frequently throughout the day. Within a month they started to develop cracks at the top seam. Some fell apart completely and had to be taped back together. I would not recommend these for use in an area where they would be moved around everyday.

Rated 3 out of 5 by bjshoe from Great Signage! We bought the Double Index Block Shelf Markers and the Clip-on Shelf Markers. We also bought the alphabet inserts and plastic insert protectors. The teachers and kids are happy that the signage is so clear and visible. The Double Blocks are working very well. The Clip-ons also work well, however the inserts are sliding out of these and we are going to have to tape them to the Shelf Marker.

Rated 2 out of 5 by kfc52 from Slip in labels tend to slip out ! Bought 2 dozen of these red blocks and the spine labels and plastic covers which go with them. Red block do expand to fit thicker shelves BUT the spine labels and plastic covers tend to slip out at the bottom. There is no LEDGE to stop the labels from slipping out the bottom. We're working to glue or tape the labels in. Try it yourself - I dare you. Very disappointed. The old black shelf clips work much better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KarenA5713 from I thought these would be great, but... I wanted some shelf identification for my lower level fiction section, and thought these would be great. They looked good, but that was the end of it. They are very light, so they are always pushed off of the shelf. In addition, they separate into two pieces, causing the letter card to fall out. If given the opportunity, I would not buy these again. I would opt for something else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mediamind from basic and with a bit of work they do the job I use these to mark the beginning of a section and sandwich them between the shelf end and the bookend. Best yet, I've hot glued them to the short leg of the bookend. Also, I make my own labels which I print on card-stock and cut to fit a bit snug in the slots. I do like that they don't take much of my limited space and fit any type of shelving.

Rated 2 out of 5 by asam from Index block shelf markers (image A) I bought these hoping to use as section dividers but also book ends to support the books as well as replace the previous shelf markers (Image B - those had snapped off the shelf, most were broken after a years use). Unfortunately the plastic is not sturdy enough and the block with bend. I do not think these will hold up time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Melbourne from Shelf Stopper style slides off shelves The angled back of the divider makes it slide out as soon as books lean on it. Did not work in our junior fiction section. I only ordered a couple to see if they would work. One does not stay together. I'd like to return them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Library Lin from Book shelf markers I need something sturdy to hold my picture books and novels in place. These were too light and keep falling down. I'm still looking. If you have book shelf markers that are sturdy let me know. Disappointed.
