Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great MakerSpace addition! I finally got a chance to use the button machine with my Pre-K-3rd grade students and they LOVE making buttons now! Granted, adults must assist and closely supervise, but the creativity aspect is wonderful. We drew a circle template for them to use instead of letting them near the cutter, but it works wonderfully.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Badge maker is a hit! I purchased the button maker as part of my Makerspace in the library. I created a few sample buttons and let kids know that the button maker was available, but nothing really happened until one student decided to make one for herself. It opened the floodgates of kids wanting to make their own buttons. We have experienced just one slight snag to the machine where the plunger doesn't return all the way up. I think a bit of light oil will fix this. One other problem with this is the circle cutter. It is difficult to line up the artwork. On an older model from Badge-a-minit, the circle cutter was very easy to line up directly over the artwork. While these small problems are a bit annoying, they don't detract from the overall fun my students are having producing their own creations.
