Didn't have as hard of a time as others
Yes, it took me over an hour, but I wasn't surprised by that. I was interrupted and I had to take a break (hand cramp) - not out of the ordinary. The hex bolts were slow going because you could only rotate about 1/4 of the way at a time. As others mentioned, the brackets didn't line up exactly, but I just pushed the bottom of the shelf up a little with a rubber mallet and I was able to attach them just fine. I did have a little trouble with the casters, but I used a mallet and screwdriver as they suggested. I felt it was way worth the savings.

pretty disappointing
This was pretty difficult to put together, as the pieces didn't quite fit easily into each other. The brackets that hold the sloping shelves in place also have a strange angle that makes the slope of the shelf more than 90 degrees, so books resting on the shelf don't lean back against the back, there is a gap at the top and I am worried that it won't be a stable place for the old/fragile books I'm going to be transporting on this. It's otherwise sturdy, but overall quite disappointing, especially considering the amount of effort I exerted putting it together.

Assembly nightmare
I love assembling stuff, so I figured I'd take a chance on this despite the other negative review. That was stupid. I challenge the staff of Demco to assemble one of these in under an hour. I had to take it to our receiving dock and hammer it for 45 minutes to get the shelf support posts to fit into the shelves since some of them were off by 1/2" and would not seat in the holes, and I had to use pliers to get the flat shelf brackets in place. Also, the casters come with instruction about not using a hammer, but I challenge anyone to insert the casters without one. It took me 4 hours of hammering and bending steel with my feet and hands to get this truck together, probably harming its structural integrity in the process. In the end, the cost savings of buying this flat-packed and not paying for truck shipping charges were lost by the amount of time it took to assemble it. Do NOT buy this truck, unless perhaps you have bodybuilders or pneumatic tools at your disposal for assembly. I'll never buy this garbage again. The only reason I didn't return it is because I didn't want to get screwed on shipping charges and also because I didn't want to spend half a day trying to get it packed up again.
