Fun way to spread kindness in our school!
These Kindness Cards are a fun way to share uplifting messages with students. I work in a high school library, and have been placing these cards randomly in books. I also posted a message about them on our school library Instagram page, stating that when a student finds a kindness card, they are welcome to keep it for themselves, or pass it on to someone who may need an uplifting message in their day.

Perfect for our Kindness project!
Our book store plans on doing a "kindness" summer reading program with our community kids and these cards will be great to use with them!

Not at the public library please
While the messages on the cards are very positive, we do not want to start a trend of putting ANY type of messages in the books at public libraries. We don't even want the thought of that, because it can easily get out of hand as someone eventually gets the idea of inserting OTHER types of messages, such as sales brochures, religious brochures, hate messages, sexually explicit messages, and so on. It would be a huge additional chore for staff to have to check all books for inserts.
