Rated 5 out of 5 by KimSC from Cute and functional I have 4 in my elem/jh library and hope to add at least 2 more soon. The kids say they are hard...because they are! Not good for lounging but great for seating. I think they will last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by babygyrl1913 from Sturdy, durable, and TOTALLY CUTE! The benches are so cute and sturdy. The hard plastic makes them more durable. I can't wait for the students to arrive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kathleenreads87 from Sturdy! I bought four of these benches for our new children's wing and they are great! They provide a nice pop of color in the seating area. They are very sturdy and heavy but slide easily on the carpet when they need to be moved for a program. They are low enough that the kids can sit on them, but not so low to be uncomfortable for adults. Great purchase!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by debanamu from Durable but uncomfortable I love these durable items, and the colors are great in my library. But, I expected them to be cushioned when I purchased them (I'm not sure why I thought that) so I was originally pleasantly surprised about them being plastic, though they are hard. My students complain during class about them being too hard on their bottoms. But, I love the fact that these are easy to clean and I do not have to worry about tears in the fabric or cushions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by emilymcm from Indestructible! We just added three of these to our library. They are described as "firm," but would more accurately be described as very hard plastic, like you would find with seating at McDonalds or on the subway. The colors are true to the pictures and very bright. One feature that did not occur to me prior to purchasing is that because of their lightness, students can turn them sideways/on their backs to use as rocking horses--not ideal in a library setting. They are nice for their durability, though not quite what I expected.
