Great product. Need clear sizing information!
I'm a new librarian and a first-time user of paperback laminates. The laminate seems to work great for its intended purpose. I didn't have a problem with bubbles, and was able to reposition it as needed. The gloss was nicely glossy, but still allowed me to see the cover without too many reflections.
HOWEVER, since I couldn't find any instructions for how to use the laminate (or how to select sizing), I ordered the 8-inch size, presumably to fit all the 8-inch tall paperbacks we have. Well that didn't work! You need at least 1 inch of EXTRA laminate at the top and bottom of the book to cover it properly. So, if you have an 8-inch paperback, your laminate needs to be at least 10 inches tall. Please be advised. And, Demco, please update your product information so novice users can order the correct size the first time. Thank you!

Nothing Better for Paperbacks
The adhesive allows for initial repositioning before setting. The grid on the paper backing helps make even cuts. It takes a while to learn to avoid air bubbles but once you've learned that, covering goes quickly and easily.

Love Vistafoil!
This is my second purchase of Vistafoil. I use it instead of Contact paper to cover our paperbacks. The books pop with color though the clear laminate.

I bought several roles recently. I've used it for several years-- glossy & matte. I like both, esp the squares blocked on back side to ensure straight cutting. Highly recommend.

Extends paperback life!!!
Taking the time to cover paperbacks with Vistafoil adds at least a dozen if not more circulations to our paperback titles. Middle school students are so hard on their checkouts and this helps me keep as many titles available as possible for them without a lot of down time, from either trying to repair torn/damaged covers or waiting for new copies to replace our "not so gently" used copies. Thanks for the great product. (And I have a wonderful volunteer who does the covering for me -- win/win all around)

Best Laminate ever!!
I have been buying all sizes of Vistafoil Vinyl Laminate from Demco for 25 years. I have tried other brands but have found that I get the smoothest cover on our books by using this Vistafoil. It is very durable and easy to apply and doesn't get all stuck together like other brands I have tried. I can cut the pieces to the size I need at one time and cover my books very quickly as to not take a lot of time. I have also used it to cover small articles like identification cards and newspaper articles. I would recommend using Vistafoil Vinyl Laminate for all your covering needs.

Good covers!
I love this vistafoil product. The matte finish is really nice. My only request is: it would be the perfect 5-star product if it came in the precut sheets with the spine split for easy covering like the reddicovers of the past. It is great just working from a roll is not as easy and the flat sheets with the ease of sticking the spine first and then able to press out the front and back covers with little no wrinkling or bubbles.

Post Pandemic Protection
Consider how you will in the future be managing shared materials safely for all patrons! Having a laminate surface allows a quick wipe down of all outside surfaces, which should be one of the procedures for all shared resources upon return.

Strong product
I just bought the smaller roll to cover my classroom library books. I wish I would have bought the longer size. I have about 200 books and it covered about 1/4 of them. It is difficult to peel away the paper and from the plastic. I bought a roll earlier in the year that had a strip that peeled away easier, but I can't remember what brand.
