Solid Laminator
It's my first time using a cold laminator. What's great about this is that you don't have to wait to use it unlike heat laminators. The downside is that you have to make sure you correctly align the laminate or else you will get wrinkles on what you are laminating.
The finished product will not have that crystal clear look or that super stiff feel that a heat laminator produces but it turns out almost as clear, has a soft feel, and the resulting laminated item is surprisingly rather bendable.
The footprint for this was much smaller than I thought it would be. You can potentially put it on a flat cart and wheel it around if you prefer mobility or leave it at a designated spot.
It's pretty straight forward to set up and get going. Everything is manual from feeding your poster, spinning the handle, and using the cutter at the back of the unit to detach your laminated item. The unit is solid metal and doesn't feel cheap in any way.
Overall, I believe it's a good purchase if you're considering a laminator. Just be aware that the laminate is not included!
